Another Jumper?

Check out those verticals and laterals on Dzu!

Familiar faces?

Such character and life in these faces!! I cant recollect the names of the people in the first two pictures.

FUN TIMES

Some more random pics from the trip.

First up, the fiesta fruit platter at Breakfast of Day 2. It was too pretty to eat, but I think the sprinkles freaked me out a little also.

Day 1, start of our hike. I forgot what everyone was staring at but I just love the expression on the porter's face.

Lastly, day 3 at ruins getting ready to play duck, duck goose.
Enjoy!

Group shot at Dead woman's pass

We finally made it to the Dead woman's pass but we are still 14! (Vanessa and Tyler missing in action)

Close-up anyone?

No, they are not closeups of people (thank goodness!!!). Here are some of the macro shots of the various flora and fauna I took on the Inca trail. I used my hand held Canon Power Shot SD600 series camera and macro mode to capture these pictures. Enjoy!

Lost city -- Machu Picchu thru the clouds

What a tease! "Pachha-mama" (meaning "mother nature" in Quecha/Spanish??) came out just in time to provide us with the glimpse of the lost city. I vowed to her that I will be back again to get a better look!

DRESS FOR HIKING SUCCESS

After a long 2 days of hiking we took our first rest of Day 3 at some really nifty archeological ruins. Oscar was going over the history of the trail and while he was talking I decided to take a few candid shots. This is the GQ/Banana Republic pose I felt was worthy to have its own shining moment on the blog. For future bookings of these models please contact me and send all money to me...much appreciated!

Master Jumper

Now this is what I call a classic Ballesteros "Jump" shot. Is he NOT the MASTER JUMPER! And who says that people are winded by the time they get to Dead woman's pass. The above picture begs to differ.

Group shot at start of the inca trail

The blog newbie, after much hassle, is finally subscribed to this blog. Here is my first posting -- a group shot that we took at the beginning of the Inca trail 08. We all look so happy and cheerful. Little did we know what we had in stored for us the following three days. Notice we are only 14 of us here (Kosta and Alice missing in action!)
